If you are a tutoring company, finding a massive roster of tutors around the country is really hard, but finding a select group of tutors that can serve the entire country by working over the internet is a much easier way to capitalize on the tutoring boom and make some money. That said, the companies that are able to find you someone in person are the ones that will be able to help you most in the end. Here are just a few ways that getting someone to come to your home is one of the best ways to get help, sometimes even more than school.
The Fear of Raising Your Hand
School is a tough environment because you are supposed to go there to learn, but there are so many obstacles at school that you are going to find distractions everywhere. Whether you are thinking about the cute girl sitting next to you in class or the cute boy that you wish would ask you what day it is, you can lose focus. Another thing that is tough is that kids are jerks. There should be no reason to make fun of someone for asking a question and there should be no such thing as a stupid question. That said, kids will make fun of you for the things that you ask and there are a lot of students that get stage fright in the school setting. When you work with a private math tutor, you can ask as many questions as you want without any fear. There is no tutor out there that will make you feel stupid for asking a question or they are just a terrible tutor.

Lots of tutors require you to come to them. It is actually not that sensible when you think about it. Most students that need say, a private math tutor, are kids that have no ability to get themselves to tutoring. That means that parents need to do the work to take their kids there, likely have tIo wait around for things to finish, and everybody loses time in addition to the money you are investing in this tutor.
